To calculate your weekly earnings:
Hourly rate x daily working hours x vac. rate = daily rate
Daily rate x number of working days per pay period = actual bi-weekly earnings
Example 1: $23.07 EAC rate x 6.17 EAC hours x 1.04 vac. rate = $148.04 daily
$148.04 daily rate x 8 days = $1184.32 bi-weekly earnings for Apr. 12/23 pay period
Example 2: $21.32 EAA rate x 5.67 EAA hours x 1.04 vac. rate = $125.72 daily
$125.72 daily rate x 10 days = $1257.20 bi-weekly earnings for June 21/23 pay period
Vacation Rate:
0 – 2 years – 4%
2 – 5 years – 6%
5 – 16 years – 8%
16 – 25 years – 10%
25 years and up – 12%
NB: When you complete your bi-weekly reports; don’t forget that MANTE employees are paid for Stat holidays (e.g. Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day, and July 1 and employees with 16 or more years of service are paid for the Civic Holiday)
